01 — The problem
An intake-to-reimbursable workflow crossed seven departmental handoffs and required approximately 14–18 days.

Individual departments were not necessarily the constraint. Time was accumulating between functions.

Mapped the end-to-end workflow, identified delayed and failed handoffs, clarified ownership, reduced rework, and redesigned the process around the final outcome rather than individual departmental activity.
